Angel Tree Delivery by Daniel Walton

Angel Tree, a program of Prison Fellowship, reaches out to the children of inmates and their families with the love of Christ.  This unique program gives South Bay Community Church members an opportunity to share Christ’s love by helping to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the families of prisoners.

Every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas morning, and thanks to the SBCC member’s of the Angel Tree Team, hundreds of children found a gift waiting under their Christmas tree this year.  Approximately 300 gifts were donated and delivered by SBCC members to the families of 92 inmates.  These same families, many of whom are struggling to meet the demands of day-to-day life, question how they might provide a gift or two for their children on Christmas Day.  The SBCC Ministry Team would like to thank the SBCC family for making this Christmas one to remember for those in need during this holiday season.  As one inmate said, “Thank you for your help. You made my kids very happy and proud of me at Christmas.  Please tell them I love them."
