Heal through Hospitality with Safe ParkingÂ
Join us in expressing God's love through the Safe Parking Initiative starting May 4th. We're seeking volunteers for the P.E.A.C.E. Team to help with breakfast and a special dinner service on May 24th at 7PM, as detailed on our events page.
This is a heartfelt invitation for those with a spirit of hospitality or anyone driven to spread love to neighbors to participate. Your participation is a powerful act of faith and hope.

Spread Holiday Cheer: Volunteer to Cook and Serve at Abode Every Second Saturday!
As we embrace the holiday season, a time of giving and compassion, we invite you to join a special initiative to assist those in need. Be a beacon of hope and change by participating in our monthly event at Abode, held every second Saturday. Let's come together to cook and serve meals this festive season, offering warmth and care to those less fortunate.
In line with current health guidelines, masks are mandatory, and teams will be kept small to ensure everyone's safety. Your support is crucial in this endeavor, as we aim not only to feed the stomach but also to nourish the soul of our community. This holiday, let's unite to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Volunteer Connection Opportunities
Children
- A family with 3 kids, including a brand new preemie are in need of a small dresser
- Recent immigrants to the US need a baby stroller, crib, baby boy clothes, baby carriageÂ
- A low income refugee family needs a stroller for their 19 month old child
  
 HomelessÂ
- A married couple with 3 kids are homeless and living in their car and are in need of warm blankets. They also have a small oil leak in their car
Household Items
- A single woman who is a refugee from Iran is living with friends and they need a couch, area rug, dining tabe and chairs, glasses, dishes, dresser, queen bedding, pillows, toaster
- A refugee man and his wife in their 60's are in need of basic furniture, couch, double bed, teapot, dining table & chairs, and an area rug LAST BLAST
- A family that arrived in the US 3 months ago and are already in permanent housing are in need of a king or queen bed, bedding for same, 2 twin beds with bedding LAST BLAST
Senior or Disabled
- A 92 year old woman needs someone to paint a small area in her bathroom. She got a new toilet and the new one is a different size and there is an unpainted area where the old toilet was
- A disabled woman needs her furniture to be moved so her floor can be replaced. She also needs someone to clean her home and provide a meal one time per week
- A disabled woman needs an air mattress, a pillow and a motorized scooter for rehab
- An elderly woman in the Tropics mobile home park needs her persimmon tree trimmed
- A woman just got into housing after being homeless. She has 2 service dogs that need to be walked and/or taken to a dog park 1-2 times per week LAST BLAST
- A terminally ill disabled woman who lives alone needs help to move a hospital bed and large HEAVY dresser to a different place in her bedroom

Make a Difference: Support Our Diaper Donation Drive with Compassion Network
In collaboration with Compassion Network, we are organizing a diaper drive to assist families in need.
As part of a group of churches involved in this project, our success hinges on your support.
To contribute, either by donating diapers or assisting in their distribution every 3rd Saturday at Fremont Community Church between 9:30 AM and 12 PM, please register below.Â
